Terms of Service for Cape Coffee Corner

These Terms of Service govern your visit to Cape Coffee Corner and your use of our café facilities, menu offerings, catering requests, and related guest services at Tulbagh St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa. By entering our premises, placing an order, booking a table, requesting catering, or communicating with our team by phone at +27 21 418 5161 or by email at [email protected], you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully so you understand how we operate, what we expect from guests, and what you can expect from us.

Cape Coffee Corner is a hospitality business focused on freshly brewed coffee, espresso-based drinks, refreshing beverages, freshly baked pastries, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere. We craft every cup with passion, quality, and care. These terms apply to in-café purchases, takeaway orders collected from our counter, private corner bookings, and any seasonal promotions announced inside the café. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Orders, Pricing, And Payment

Menu items, combo prices, and daily specials displayed in the café or described by our staff are offered subject to availability. Prices are shown in South African Rand and may change to reflect ingredient costs, seasonal menus, or limited-time offerings. Once an order is confirmed at the counter or for a booked catering tray, payment is due according to the method accepted that day, which may include cash or common card payments. We may refuse incomplete, unclear, or impractical orders. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund for that item.

Loyalty stamps, newsletter offers, and combo selections such as Morning Cup, Corner Combo, or Cape Premium are subject to the conditions explained at the time of the offer. Offers cannot be combined unless our staff expressly allows it. We reserve the right to cancel promotions that appear abused or that exceed reasonable guest use. Gift vouchers, if issued, must be presented before payment and retain any printed expiry conditions.

Allergens, Dietary Needs, And Product Information

Our kitchen and coffee bar handle dairy, gluten, nuts, eggs, soy, and other common allergens. While we take care when preparing drinks and pastries, cross-contact can occur in a busy café environment. Guests with allergies or intolerances should speak with our team before ordering so we can share current ingredient information and suggest safer options. We do not guarantee that any item is completely free from a particular allergen. Plant-based milk alternatives and pastry choices may vary by day.

Conduct On Premises

We want Cape Coffee Corner to remain a cosy destination for friends, remote workers, families, and visitors exploring Cape Town. Guests must treat staff and other customers with respect. Harassment, aggressive behaviour, excessive noise that disturbs others, misuse of furniture or equipment, or refusal to follow reasonable staff instructions may result in a request to leave without refund for consumed products. Children must be supervised. Animals are allowed only where local rules and café policy permit, and handlers remain responsible for their behaviour.

Wi-Fi, power sockets, and seating are provided for guest comfort during normal trading hours and may be limited during peak periods. We may ask guests who occupy tables for long periods without recent purchases to make space for others during busy times. Photography for personal use is welcome; commercial shoots require prior approval from management.

Bookings, Catering, And Events

Private corner bookings and catering trays depend on capacity and advance notice. A booking confirmation from our team establishes the agreed time, party size, and menu scope. If you need to cancel or change a booking, contact us as early as possible by phone or email. Late cancellations may reduce our ability to reuse prepared ingredients, and we may retain a reasonable portion of any deposit previously agreed. For catered orders, delivery or collection details must be confirmed in writing by email exchange with our staff.

Cancellations, Refunds, And Complaints

If a drink or pastry does not meet the quality you reasonably expect, please tell us promptly while you are still in the café so we can remake the item or provide a fair remedy. Refunds for correctly prepared and delivered products are generally not available once consumption has begun, except where South African consumer law requires otherwise. Written complaints can be sent to [email protected]. We aim to respond within a reasonable business timeframe and to resolve issues in good faith.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cape Coffee Corner is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from café visits, delays, ingredient substitutions, or temporary service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable South African law. Guests remain responsible for personal belongings brought into the café.

Changes And Governing Law

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect operational, legal, or menu changes. The version available in the café or on our website on the date of your visit applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. For questions about these terms, contact Cape Coffee Corner at Tulbagh St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa, telephone +27 21 418 5161, or email [email protected].

Thank you for choosing Cape Coffee Corner. We appreciate your trust and look forward to serving coffee crafted with passion, quality, and care.
